The answer can be found on my FAQ-page of my homepage.
Use about 2 g per day (crushed dried leaves) in 150 ml of water.

I have two Ginkgo trees in my front yard and they were both labeled Autumn Gold by a reputable arborist. They are both supposed to be males. For the past 2 years, however, one of them has started to produce the fruit of the female tree. There are only a few fruits, since the tree is very young, but in time, I guess there will be a lot more seeds. I thought that Autumn Gold was a male cultivar....what could have happened? By the way, both trees seem to be growing very rapidly and seem very happy in this Long Island, New York location....lots of sandy, well drained soil.

Sometimes a male tree produces some seeds, although only a few.
