Jo Fleming provided a last autumn leaf drop to remember the majestic Ginkgo tree lost to Farragut Square in Washington D.C. in February of this year. Read the story on my blog here.
She made a circle of Ginkgo leaves around the stump of the Ginkgo accidentally cut down.
Jo gathered leaves from trees in Washington D.C., Virginia, Maryland and many more locations.
On Jo's request a young Ginkgo tree was planted by the National Park Service on Farragut Square last month.

Environmental art by Jo Fleming, Great Falls Virginia Visiual Artist. Read more  here.
